The book "Halimun" originates from agrarian conflicts in Indonesia, packaged in a fictional form. Besides documenting cases occurring in society, "Halimun" seeks to summarize the experiences, reflections, and collective learnings of civil society movements with farmers. This book is crucial to read, as it opens up a critical understanding of the roots of agrarian problems, the difficult path taken in the struggle, and its relevance to the current situation in Indonesia. To commemorate Farmers' Day, HuMa is publishing this book with the aim of strengthening knowledge, expanding public discourse, and encouraging dialogue on a just agrarian future. The launch, held at Kios Ojo Keos on September 29, 2025, is expected to serve as a meeting place for ideas and solidarity, connecting the book's contents with the current socio-political context.
